About the Founder
Halwaivala is the dream of Mr. Arun Kumar, a small-town boy turned business tycoon, to introduce the culture of his native country to the rest of India. Mr. Kumar was born and brought up in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, also known as the City of Mahakal. Ujjain is a neighboring city to Indore, and both cities, with their rich food culture and royal history, keep Madhya Pradesh alive and running.
Mr. Kumar has been a food enthusiast since he was a kid. Coming from a humble background and from a historic land, Mr. Kumar has the vision to spread the culture of his native place to the people of Delhi through Halwaivala. His love for food led him to explore the cuisines of different Indian regions and different countries. While traveling abroad, he envisioned bringing their food complex concept to India and named it Halwaivala.
With the experience of more than 40 years in service, Mr. Kumar and Halwaivala promise you a delightful experience, thus ensuring sweet memory.
